The founder of Savvy Event Studio is Juliana Calvo, a Miamian, hailing from Colombia. With a love for travel, impeccable taste and an eye for quality, Juliana decided to combine her interests and strengths to form Savvy Event Studio after working for Estée Lauder Companies and overseeing top brands such as Bobbi Brown, Crème de La Mer and Jo Malone, Juliana discovered her true passion for event planning. Juliana’s specialty developed into creating top-notch events catered to high-profile individuals. After coordinating events in multicultural cities for ELC, she strengthened her understanding of the luxury market and its customers’ needs, wishes and unique lifestyles. She noted during her international experiences how challenging it was for foreigners to coordinate quality destination events and decided to fill the niche.  Now individuals can benefit from Juliana’s passion, creativity and experience, and enjoy customized, full-service event planning, where language is not a barrier.


Savvy Event Studio strives to meet our clients’ needs and wishes, which we accomplish by keeping an open line of communication through e-mail messages, phone calls and conference calls via Skype. We will share ideas and images of venues and other details that will make your event special. After our initial consultation in which we will explore your style, we will then create an inspiration board to reflect your vision.  The inspiration board will feature various themes, colors and ideas for decor, flowers and table settings.  Based on your theme choice, we will refine the design to include venue decoration, lighting, floral arrangements, accents, party colors, accessories, table numbers, place cards and personalized menus. We will suggest qualified vendors that match your style and fit your budget, and finally, provide you with a detailed timeline that will make your event unforgettable for you and your guests.

Savvy is proud to offer clients our specialized website services included in each of our event packages. Our customized event website serves as an online “concierge,” providing a convenient resource for your guests.  The personalized website will display the event invitation, preview activities that will take place and present other relevant information.  Guests will be able to read about event-related topics such as: transportation, nearby attractions and shopping, what to wear, weather forecasts, group activities and much more.  Each event will have its own website with helpful and pertinent information to guide guests and ensure a smooth experience for all.
